North Point was selected by our senior leadership, out of three firms, primarily due to their customer service and overall sense of humility. We instantly realized that in addition to their extensive portfolio, they treated us, the customer, as one of them.

North Point Builders put together a very competent and professional construction management team to handle this difficult project. In fact, it seemed that the entire North Point Builders organization provided support to make this a successful project. Despite the many issues that came up, North Point dealt with the issues in a productive team-oriented approach to solve all problems.

North Point’s project management team was consistently ahead of the curve with respect to managing the work, identifying possible problems before they occurred, which in turn reduced the amount of potential change orders. Throughout the duration, North Point’s collective construction expertise identified areas of value engineering, much of which was acted upon, effectively saving the Owner money.

North Point Builders came through with flying colors, proposing and implementing thoughtful solutions to each challenge, value engineering wherever and whenever it made sense, and successfully balancing project requirements and constraints with programming, functional, and aesthetic needs and desires of the Library.

Their willingness to collaborate, accelerate and strategically plan typifies that they do not treat each project with an “in due time” mentality…North Point took an emphasis in communication and attention to detail with every part of the project.

This project was completed on time and North Point Builders demonstrated attention to detail at all times and work of the highest caliber prevailed throughout the construction process.

This is to let everyone know that the original North Point scope of work is complete! APL stakeholders conducted a Punch List inspection yesterday afternoon, with one item being identified and was corrected early this morning. Through solid teamwork, identifying and closing punch items as the project progressed, there is no punch list on the project.

North Point Builders team did an outstanding job of listening to their clients’ needs and project expectation and was able to organize and prioritize those needs to fit within the project budget and schedule.

Words cannot describe the time, effort, and detail North Point took to make sure they captured the historic components of the 1926 school and combined it to create a 21st century, state of the art school. They were generous with their time in educating our students and staff and always made sure we were informed.

North Point Builders was able to foresee the critical milestones that needed to be achieved for the success of the project and made necessary adjustments to the construction sequencing and temporary construction methods that kept the project on track. North Point Builders was exemplary in their role as managers of quality control of the construction process and provided a remarkable building despite the lack of time and sunshine during construction.

They provide great attention to the potential issues with a project of this nature, and were extremely attentive to the sensitivity of users. The design and quality of construction turned out beautifully and is admired by all that utilize it.

Their can-do attitude and positive input made this project enjoyable for all involved, and the resulting plaza shows the pride they took in their craft.

From the initial stages of planning the space with the architects and our laboratory personnel, North Point Builders exhibited patience and thoughtful guidance to incorporate our design needs into a complex construction plan that fit our timelines and budget.

The challenges that are presented to a construction company to complete a renovation and extension during the school year is tremendous, and for this project, North Point handled the work with the utmost professionalism and care.
