Family Health Services of Baltimore

North Point Builders was the Construction Manager for the Family Health Centers of Baltimore. The Family Health Centers of Baltimore is a nonprofit federally qualified provider of affordable primary care services with four locations in the Baltimore area. The facility replaced their existing Brooklyn satellite campus with a centrally located building on Hanover Street in Brooklyn Maryland.

The project was an interior and exterior renovation of a 3-story, 27,000 square foot building which was previously a bowling alley and retail store. Interior work included complete demolition, new finishes, plumbing, HVAC, electrical power, emergency generator, IT and medical equipment. Site work consisted of removing existing site paving and debris to install new paving, grading, retaining walls, landscaping, and sidewalks. The facility’s roof and windows were replaced and the complete outer wall was painted with a colorful and bold graphic design.

After the extensive renovation, the first floor of the Brooklyn facility holds several medical staff offices, exam rooms, waiting room, restrooms, medical storage areas, elevator, and pharmacy. The basement level is utilized for maintenance/IT storage and office areas.
