EBA Engineering Offices

North Point Builders provided Pre-Construction and Construction Management services for EBA Engineering Inc. This leading Engineering Firm decided to move their Baltimore headquarters to a larger facility in Laurel, Maryland. The strong history between North Point Builders and EBA developed during the construction of their Baltimore, Maryland facility, and after working on projects for mutual clients. This successful collaboration led North Point Builders and EBA to work together again on the firm’s new headquarters in Laurel, Maryland.

The existing 40,000 square foot corporate office was purchased by EBA to house more employees, improve client service, encourage teamwork, and help expand into the Washington and Virginia market areas.

Prior to the interior renovation of the building, the first phase consisted of replacing the existing roof system. Next, the project required a complete demolition of the existing second floor improvements. Once this phase was completed, North Point Builders renovated the second floor to accommodate many difference spaces including:

• New Offices
• Collaborative Spaces
• Conference and Meeting Rooms
• Lobby
• Kitchen and Eating Areas

State of the art VRF Mechanical HVAC Systems, high tech AV and IT electronics, and security systems were also installed.

As construction progressed, the project team was mindful of the residing tenants by maintaining job site cleanliness, providing safe access points, and managing noise levels.
