Middle River Recreation Activity Center
North Point Builders provided General Contracting Services for the Middle River Recreation Activity Center, a new one-story, 15,000 SF facility to provide recreational and multipurpose spaces for the community.
The facility includes:
- Gymnasium
- Stage
- Multipurpose Room
- Activity Rooms
- eGaming Room
- Office Space
- Associated Support Areas
The structure features steel columns and a metal deck, with a combination of CMU and steel stud walls. The exterior includes masonry veneer and metal panel finishes for durability and aesthetics. Site improvements included a new parking lot, modifications to the existing parking lot, utility connections, site lighting, stormwater management systems, and landscaping enhancements. Due to tight site constraints and the facility’s location adjacent to an active school, the project required careful planning and close coordination with all stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient construction with minimal disruptions.
