Riviera Beach Elementary
North Point Builders was the General Contractor for the Riviera Beach Elementary School Addition in Pasadena, Maryland. The school was in need of a space that would unify and modernize the early education department as well as allow efficient utilization of the existing classrooms throughout the building.
The new early education wing consists of a 7,000 square foot addition. The addition which includes a hallway with lockers, three kindergarten classrooms, and one pre-k classroom, connects to the existing school building, allowing a continuous flow and ease of access through the facility. Each classroom has special ultraviolet light filtering windows, single-use restrooms, and SMART board technology. Adjacent to the addition is a new hard surface play court. A security vestibule was created in the existing main entrance of the school to increase safety measures.
