Baltimore County Athletic Fields
North Point Builders was the Design-Build Contractor for the new lacrosse, soccer, and football practice fields at the Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville, Maryland. Baltimore County initiated this project due to a serious field shortage in the Catonsville and Arbutus area.
As the Design Build Contractor, North Point Builders collaborated with the state of Maryland (property owner), Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks, Conservation, and Stormwater Management Division to assure the state regulations were fulfilled. North Point Builders acted as a mediator to coordinate property management requirements and investigate existing utilities and stormwater features needs to allow the project to be approved by both entities.
The project was located on a 5-acre site and included site development, a grass field and synthetic turf field with field lighting, spectator areas, and parking.
