EBA Engineering, Inc., a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, moved its headquarters to Laurel, Maryland. The new 40,000-square-foot corporate office building enables improved client service, room for growth, and expansion into new service areas
Having successfully constructed EBA’s main headquarters in Baltimore, North Point Builders was selected again to provide preconstruction and construction services for this new state of the art office environment.
Special Challenges
The project required the coordination of interior construction tasks which included the coordination of custom glass office wall system and custom furniture installation.
The project required working in a tenant occupied building. Managing the environment, access, and noise control were all important components for the construction team. This budget was maintained within 1 % of the original figures and received ABC’s 2016 Merit Award.
